Parkinson’s Mental Health Drop-in Information Day

Supporting people with Parkinson’s who are experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, low mood or depression in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Being diagnosed with Parkinson’s can be tough. People with Parkinson’s may experience a range of mental health issues alongside physical symptoms. Anxiety and depression are the two most common mental health symptoms that affect people with Parkinson’s.

Parkinson’s UK Scotland, working with Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH), and SilverCloud, has developed a programme of support for people with Parkinson’s in the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, and their family, friends and carers, who are experiencing anxiety, low mood or depression.

Venue: The Nook, Unit F, Marischal Square, Upperkirkgate, Aberdeen, AB10 1BA

Drop in anytime between 10.30 – 3.30pm on Thursday, 24th September.

Come along, pick up information and talk to us (and get a cuppa and eat some cake of course!) should anyone feel that it would be beneficial to speak to a Practitioner on the day, we also have access to private 1:1 rooms where they can speak with Jean, our Mental Health Practitioner.

We will then be running 1:1 appointments for the month of October.
