Self-Care for Women Carers in and Around Menopause

Self-Care for Women Carers in and Around Menopause

We are delighted to invite you to a free series of four weekly workshops designed to support women with caring responsibilities who are navigating menopause or perimenopause.

If you live in or around Aberdeen and are looking for a supportive space to explore how caring for others impacts your own body, mind and wellbeing, these workshops offer practical, nurturing approaches grounded in eco-somatic practice.

You can join the programme at the location that suits you best:
– University of Aberdeen (Foresterhill or Old Aberdeen)
– Robert Gordon University
– Aberdeen Foyer (Marywell)
– Studio Dunami (Hill of Rubislaw)

Together we will explore gentle movement, breathwork, grounding practices, and a deeper understanding of the changing neuroendocrine system. There will also be opportunities for reflection, shared conversation and practical self-care strategies to help you reconnect with your own resilience and wellbeing.

The workshops are free to attend thanks to funding from ACVO Aberdeen, but places are limited, so early booking is recommended.

I look forward to welcoming you this August.

With warm wishes,
Dr Anna Dako
