Support for unpaid cancer carers at Maggie’s Aberdeen
About the project
We will support approximately 60 people at risk of adverse mental health because they are unpaid cancer carers or because they move from being a carer to experiencing bereavement. This project focuses on improving mental health and reducing isolation, fostering resilience and self-compassion. The project aims to help cancer carers manage relationships, transitioning care roles, and coping with the emotional toll of caregiving and bereavement whilst balancing their own self-care.
