MISS Miscarriage Support – Forget Me Not Memorial Garden

Within Hazlehead Crematorium, lies a place for quiet reflection for parents affected by pregnancy loss. In our short film, Abi Clarke, the Chief Executive Officer of Miscarriage Services Charity (MISS), shares the journey of creating this unique garden, the inspiration behind it, and the profound impact it has on those who visit.

A key feature of the garden is its beehive postbox, a poignant addition funded by the Just Transition PB Fund in Aberdeen, where parents can write letters, poems, or messages on biodegradable paper and post them in the box. The paper is later mulched and used to plant wildflowers, symbolising growth and renewal.
