Final Week to Apply for Community & Coast Fund Grants – Deadline Approaching for Torry and Cove Groups

Only One Week Left! Applications for Community & Coast Fund Close on Monday, November 4th, 2024, at 12:00 PM

Torry and Cove community groups and third-sector organisations have just one week remaining to apply for the Community & Coast Fund, with a closing deadline of Monday, November 4th, 2024, at noon. This £100,000 fund aims to empower local projects with grants of up to £3,000 or £10,000 for capital projects that support community initiatives.

The ACVO TSI team, which administers the fund on behalf of ETZ Ltd, has been actively working with local groups in recent weeks, gaining insight into community-led initiatives that address key issues such as job skills, environmental sustainability, and local heritage preservation.

Sarah Irvine, Development Officer at ACVO TSI, has played a key role in guiding potential applicants through the application process and is available to assist organisations through this final stretch.

“It’s been inspiring to see the passion and creativity within the Torry and Cove communities,” Sarah commented. “With just one week left, I encourage anyone who hasn’t yet applied to reach out. I’m here to help turn their ideas into actionable projects that make a real difference.”

In addition to funding, the Community & Coast Fund includes a unique opportunity for the over 16,000 residents of Torry and Cove to have a say in the final selection of projects. Through a public vote, residents will decide which initiatives receive funding, ensuring projects reflect local priorities and values.

Eligible third-sector organisations and unconstituted community groups within Torry and Cove can still submit their applications through the fund’s website at communityandcoast.scot/apply.

For further assistance or to discuss project ideas, please contact Sarah Irvine directly at communityandcoast.scot/contact.

Don’t miss this opportunity! Submit your application by November 4th, and be a part of positive change in Torry and Cove.
