The Children and Young people’s Voluntary Sector Provider’s Forum (CYPVSPF)
The Children and Young People’s Voluntary Sector Providers Forum (CYPVSPF) is the key group where third sector organisations work collectively, to achieve better outcomes in partnership with others for Aberdeen’s children, young people and families.
For further information, please contact Maggie Hepburn, our Integrated Children’s Services Third Sector Liaison Officer at email@example.com or visit the Aberdeen Getting It Right website at www.aberdeengettingitright.org.uk.
The Respected and Included Outcome Group
In February 2014 Aberdeen City agreed a revised governance structure for Integrated Children’s Services. ACVO and Aberdeen Youth Council co-chair the newly created Respected and Included Outcome group. This remit of this group is to refresh awareness of the UNCRC, and gather evidence of the effective engagement of all children and young people across sectors.
Getting It Right For Every Child (0-16 years) – Aberdeen City Third Sector Provision
ACVO and the Children and Young People’s Voluntary Sector Providers Forum as partners in the delivery of the Integrated Children’s Services plan have worked together to publish a visual mapping of services provided by Aberdeen’s vibrant and pro-active third sector.
Third Sector – Children and Young People Mapping (pdf)
This tool, at a glance, provides information about services provided by the sector and levels of involvement based on the National Practice Model. The map will be updated periodically and will be available for download from ACVO and Aberdeen Getting it Right website. A map of services aimed at 16-25 years olds will be commissioned next.
We hope that this information will work alongside the Family Information Service (www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/fis) as a useful tool for all the children’s services workforce across all sectors, and will provide a basis for collaborative working in the future.
