Support Services in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire for Children.

Early Intervention offer part funded group sessions for Children at Ferryhill Community centre in Aberdeen. Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) and Music Therapy.

These sessions are suitable for children who require support with Emotional regulation, Social Communication challenges, Executive Function, Excessive worry/rumination and Sensory processing challenges.

No Medical diagnosis is required to access our services.

Early Intervention has been funded by The Scottish Government Wellbeing Fund to write and deliver a Neurodivergant Parenting Program

We also have a number of short courses on Neurodiversity topics such as Autism, ADHD/ADD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Global Development Delay, Hyperlexia, Dyslexia, and Dysgraphia available.

These seminars can be taken in person or online via Zoom.

‘Neurodiversity’ is simply as another form of human diversity. Today we still experience an unequal distribution of social power, acceptance, and sufficient resources to support neurodivergent individuals, to be truly accepted and thrive as equals.
