Tesco Community Grants

Funding available: up to £1500

Applications close: 31/12/2023

About this fund

Tesco Community Grants fund thousands of local community projects across the UK, helping to fight holiday hunger, tackle mental health, support young people, host community events and much more. Community groups, schools, charities, local authorities and not for profits can all apply for grants for projects that bring benefit for the community.

Three projects in 575 local communities are voted on by customers in Tesco stores throughout the UK, with projects changing every three months.

Fund award size: maximum £1,500

Notes on award amounts: Tesco can fund 100% of your project costs so you do not have to have any match funding.

Following the vote, the project that receives the most votes in its area will receive a grant of up to £1,500. Second place will receive up to £1,000 and third place will receive up to £500. Your will be awarded the amount that you requested, not the maximum amount available to that place.

Who can apply
Voluntary or community organisations (including registered charities/companies), schools, health bodies (e.g. Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), NHS Hospital Trust, Foundation Trust), Parish/Town Councils, local authorities and social housing providers.

This list is not exhaustive and there will be many other types of organisations that will be funded.
