Join a workshop to map local greenspaces and share ideas for feeling good outdoors.
Torry has lots of little pockets of nature which people enjoy in their own ways. Maybe it’s doing a crossword in the car whilst watching the dolphins at Torry Battery. Or walking past that Buddleia dotted with butterflies on your walk to work on Sinclair Road. Or sitting on a bench with your dog at St Fitticks Park listening to the birdsong.
Please join us to share your favourite nature spots and moments in Torry. Together we chat about how the outdoors makes us feel, the changes with the seasons, and the smells, sounds and colours that come with these memories.
With the help of Rosa Eisenberg, a local illustator with a background in Health and Social Care, we will explore together the best way to communicate this to others through the creation of a free printed resource all about nature connections and wellbeing in Torry.
Please note, this session is taking place at Greyhope School and Community Hub NOT the Greyhope Bay Centre at Torry Battery.
