LGBT+ History Month: Bessie Craigmyle – Lesbianism Through The 19th Century

Despite having been a taboo subject, lesbians have been present throughout Scottish and British history. This can be seen in art; be it visual, written or performance. Join Jakub Ivanecky, community researcher for the PATH Project, for a presentation on Bessie Craigmyle and lesbian love in the 19th century.

This event is delivered as part of the Prejudice and Solidarity Archived Throughout History (PATH) community-led heritage project organised by Four Pillars and GREC.
