Who is this for?
The Gathering is targeted for people over 50 years old who are in retirement or contemplating retirement. There will be various engaging speakers, stalls, workshops and taster sessions showcasing all the various groups and charities to promote and encourage people to join groups and to take up opportunities to volunteer.
What is it about?
The intention behind the Gathering is to promote discussion and subsequent planning of a good retirement and help people be more aware of the community based activities, initiatives, groups and organisations across the region. What is on at the gathering? There will be various stalls and tables showcasing all the various groups and charities to promote and encourage people to join groups to stay well and connected to their communities. You can try activities and join groups and charities where possible take up opportunities to volunteer.
