Everyone at ACVO has been deeply touched by our sectors phenomenal response to COVID-19. From the thousand of volunteers stepping up to deliver food parcels to those helping our NHS, these little stories are a ray of sunshine during these dark days and we want to share these stories far and wide and to do this we are launching the Aberdeen Cares campaign.
Aberdeen Cares will is YOUR opportunity to showcase the work you are doing in response to the coronavirus outbreak, this could be news stories of your organisation stepping up their activities, stories on volunteering, shout out to volunteers or to say thank you. The list really is endless and can take the form of text, video or graphic.
Your story will then be shared across our social media platform, a special dedicated Aberdeen Cares story page and as part of our COVID-19 Directory Briefing.
How to get involved:
- Send your story to our Communications Officer, Martyn Walker firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject ‘Aberdeen Cares’
- Tweet your story or shoutout on Twitter using #AberdeenCares and tag @Aberdeen_ACVO in your tweet.
- Post your story, shoutout or video to our Facebook page – search ‘ACVO and Volunteer Story’.
- Add a Twibbon to your social media profile picture!
This is YOUR opportunity to help spread a little joy and to showcase the work your organisation and volunteers do.
