  • 2007-2013 – ACVO implements “More than Profit Conference”, “Business Know How North East” in partnership with Royal Bank of Scotland and AGCC, “Celebrate Aberdeen Parade” in partnership with Citrusmix.
  • January 2014 – AFC agrees Key Sponsorship of Big Aberdeen Event. Lord Andrew Mawson secured as Keynote speaker
  • June 2014 – Ask the Expert sponsorship secured from Henderson Loggie and Empire HR.
  • August-September 2014: ASDA Community Life Champions engage hundreds of school children from Garthdee to Bridge of Don in making bunting picturing their favourite things about Aberdeen. First Aberdeen buses carry Big Aberdeen posters. AFC special passes to match-goers. Original FM runs campaign.
  • 22nd September 2014 – Big Aberdeen event. 200+ Conference delegates, 60+ indoor and outdoor stands and activities. 3000 approx visiting members of the public.
  • 22nd November 2014 – Big Aberdeen Plan calls to action
  • December 2014 – Path-finding mission to Lord Mawson in East London led by Angela Scott, CEO, and Directors of ACC with NHS Grampian Clinical Leadership and ACVO.

  • 20th September 2016 – ACVO Affiliates celebrate 2 years of Big Aberdeen with Duncan Skinner, Chairman of Glencraft who spoke at the 2014 conference.  Delegates hosted by ACVO Affiliate Abrras LTD included many active in Big Aberdeen Stories, Benches, Breakfasts and Photos.
