The Aberdeen Culture Network forms part of Community Planning Aberdeen and seeks to support the development of arts and culture in the city. Formed in February 2014, the Network comprises representatives from a range of arts, heritage, academic, tourism and business bodies.
The Network’s remit includes:
- Supporting the development of a renewed Cultural Plan for the city
- Providing evidence to, and hearing reports on, the Single Outcome Aberdeen for Aberdeen, and other key initiatives
- Reviewing and providing comment on funds divested by the Community Planning Partnership
The Network meets on a quarterly basis. Copies of meeting agenda’s and minutes can be found on the Community Planning Aberdeen website.
