We are looking for an engaging, enthusiastic and well organised individual to join our Scotland Volunteering and Community team. Reporting to the Volunteering & Community Manager for Scotland, you will lead a group of volunteers and our peer support activity for people affected by stroke within the Grampian health board area. You will also coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of our Hand in Hand volunteer-led, peer support pilots and lead volunteers within the pilots.
You will have strong networking and relationship management skills to enable you to proactively build connections and opportunities across your area.
You will have a track record of working with volunteers and an understanding of the impact of stroke in someone’s life. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. There is also a requirement to work flexibly and travel to fulfil the role.

The use of a car with business use cover and the ability to drive is essential to be able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
The role is subject to a standard PVG check.
