Aberdeen Priority Families Service opened in January 2017 and is a partnership between Action for Children, Aberdeen Foyer, Aberdeen City Council and Police Scotland. The service works with families who have multiple and complex needs.
In Partnership with colleagues from Police Scotland and Aberdeen Foyer you will work intensively with families to address Anti-Social Behaviour, Offending, Education and welfare of Children. As a Family Support Practitioner you will carry out assessments, intensive planned support and reviews and support clients to overcome barriers. Working as part of a team, you will attend meetings and work alongside partner agencies.
Experience of working with children and families. A knowledge of statutory and voluntary agencies that can support the client group. Experience in developing multidisciplinary support plans. A driving License and use of a car is essential.
