ENABLE Scotland is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people who have learning disabilities and we have an exciting opportunity within our ENABLE Works team for an Employment Coordinator to support people who have learning disabilities to make progress towards and achieving employment across Aberdeen City and Shire through the delivery our Employability Fund Contract. You will work closely with a group of people who have learning disabilities each year by profiling their skills and jointly planning activities which will enable them to achieve their work goals and become independent and active members of their community.
You will be responsible for developing positive relationships with the programme participants, managing their circles of support and professional support services.
You will work closely with local partners, including employers, funders and other stakeholders to develop professional relationships that will offer a diverse range of experiences and opportunities. You will be given a work plan to ensure programme participants are receiving a quality service and we are meeting the expectations of funders and stakeholders.
You will be an important member of the wider ENABLE Works team, supporting departmental objectives through delivery of support and also through positive collaboration and innovation within your team to support our strategic societal goals.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Previous experience of supporting people who have learning disabilities and/or multiple barriers to find meaningful and sustainable employment
• Strong business development skills in order to engage with external networks and increase opportunities for the people you are supporting
• Exceptional organisational skills with a creative approach to managing your workload and conflicting priorities whist exceeding KPIs with minimal supervision
Please note – this role will require travel between our local offices so a full driving licence with access to their own vehicle for business use would be beneficial.
