Volunteers Receive Golden Thank You

30/06/16 The Lord provost and Mike Melvin from ACVO presented Aileen Goymer-Davidson and Sylvia Davidson with God Volunteer awards for all the volunterr work totalling 70 years.The Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Councillor George Adam recognised the tremendous volunteering of two incredible volunteers. Aileen Goymer-Davidson and Sylvia Davidson were presented with Volunteering in Aberdeen Gold Awards for the amazing and important contribution they make volunteering, particularly in the Tillydrone and Woodside communities of Aberdeen and with citywide groups such as Regeneration Matters, Fairer Aberdeen Board and much more!

The Lord Provost personally thanked Aileen and Sylvia for all they do and ACVO was honoured to extend our many thanks to Aileen and Sylvia as well. The Gold Award presentation once again highlighted terrific volunteering in Aberdeen which is making a real positive difference to communities and people across the city.
