BTA (Bruce Tait Associates) are delighted to be working with Action Medical Research for Children in their search for a Community Fundraiser.

Action Medical Research is a UK-wide charity on a mission to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures.

It has been funding medical breakthroughs since it began over 65 years ago and has helped to beat polio in the UK, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy. But medical research for children is underfunded and it urgently needs to develop more new treatments and cures. That’s why it needs you to help in its fight for little lives.

We are recruiting for an energetic and experienced fundraiser to manage and develop the fundraising activity in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. In this new role you will be responsible for delivering and building fundraising income from a range of sources particularly high-profile special events, individual supporters and third party partnerships.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in delivering income and new business in a professional fundraiser role. You will be proactive, highly motivated, well organised and comfortable with working independently. With exemplary relationship building and interpersonal skills you will inspire existing and new supporters to achieve great things for the charity. The role is home based in the Aberdeen area and you will need to be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends. A full UK driving licence and access to a car for regular business use is essential.

This search is being conducted exclusively on behalf of Action Medical Research for Children by BTA. If this sounds like a perfect role for you then please contact as soon as possible for further information prior to making your application.
