Big Aberdeen Good Causes Day

WP_20160626_13_13_33_ProSunday 26th Good Causes Day at Aberdeen Sports Village was the contribution to the Big Aberdeen movement of a group of business people led by Scott McDougall and Jeanette Lowe.

On a fantastically sunny day stall holders from many Aberdeen charities, charity mascots, superheroes and princesses large and small joined ACVO and the Lord Provost in a day of fun and awareness raising and the creation of a legacy for the City’s play parks.

Big Aberdeen Good Causes benches supplied by Aberdeen City Council  were painted by children on the spot in fantastic bright colours and will be positioned in playparks across the City as a place for parents and grandparents to sit and a signpost to the charity services available should they have needs unmet.

Individual Third Sector organisations can design and paint their own Blooming Big Aberdeen bench in a City greenspace and more information is available at
